We're so excited to share a few of our favorite local activities, bakeries, and restaurants with you! Remember to pack a swimsuit if you dare to jump in the harbour. Flat shoes are also a must, if you’d like to enjoy city sight seeing by bike.

Bakeries and Breakfast

Hart Bakery is a charming spot renowned for its artisanal approach to baking. They specialize in freshly baked sourdough bread, buttery pastries, and seasonal treats, all crafted with high-quality ingredients. Known for its cozy atmosphere and irresistible aromas, it's a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of authentic Danish baked goods. They have multiple locations, and this one is our favorite location.

Anderson Bakery has Japanese-Danish roots and is a delightful fusion of two baking traditions. Known for its high-quality bread, delicate pastries, and inventive flavor combinations, this is a must try!

Atlier September is our favorite brunch spot! Known for its signature and unique pancakes, avocado toast and other seasonal fruit bowls, the café offers a serene, light-filled space perfect for a leisurely breakfast or brunch

Lunch

Torvehallerne KBH is a vibrant food market with over 60 stalls brimming with fresh produce, artisanal goods, and international cuisines. From gourmet coffee and smørrebrød to sushi and exotic spices, it’s a culinary haven for locals and visitors alike. We love the empanadas at Laboca, or the “Boller med Ost” (Bun with cheese and butter) at Albatross & Venner

Any Cafe along Nyhavn Along Nyhavn (a street with the iconic colorful buildings) you will find many charming cafes and restaurants ready to greet you! Please sit down at one of these spots and enjoy Copenhagen at it’s finest.

La Banchina is a small farm to table restaurant serving great food and wines! They are located right on the water with a great swimming spot and also multiple saunas! See more here.

Dinner

Reffen Street Food is Copenhagen's largest street food market, set in an industrial waterfront area with a vibrant and creative vibe. It features a mix of food trucks and stalls offering flavors from around the world, alongside bars and live entertainment. With its open-air seating and stunning views of the harbor, Reffen is a favorite hangout spot. It is a 20-minute bike ride out of the city center, so make it a day trip when there is good weather.

Broens Street Food is a cozy outdoor market that brings together diverse global flavours in a laid-back setting. With its collection of food trucks and stalls, you can enjoy anything from juicy burgers and fresh tacos to Asian fusion dishes and artisanal desserts. The market is centrally located near Nyhavn.

Resturant Barr One of our favorite spots! offers a unique dining experience focused on traditional Nordic and European cuisine. With a menu inspired by the flavors of Northern Europe, particularly the North Sea region, Barr serves dishes made from locally sourced ingredients and emphasizes rustic yet refined preparations.

Sankt Annæ We are regulars here. This is a charming, cozy restaurant known for its focus on classic Danish cuisine with a contemporary touch. Great wine and they change the menu every night!
