Gabby’s Story
Gabby is half Danish American and grew up in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. She has now been living in Copenhagen for 7 years and adores the city's charm, whether it’s scoping out new local bakeries or swimming in the harbor canals. Gabby is currently getting her MBA and loves exploring new places with Midas and savoring good times with family & friends.
Midas’s Story
Midas grew up in Almere, the Netherlands together with his parents and brother. Midas moved to Copenhagen in 2022 after he found the love of his life Gabby. Midas is an engineer working with wind turbines and in his free time enjoys hopping on his road bike for a scenic ride (true dutch guy) or refining his passion for photography and videography.
Our Relationship
How did we meet? Midas was in Copenhagen for one night after a vacation in Norway. Midas and Gabby then matched on Bumble (a dating app) the day after, when Midas was already on his way back to the Netherlands. They started messaging and FaceTiming with each other and a special spark between them ignited. Midas invited Gabby to spend a weekend with him in Amsterdam, where they then met for the first time at the Airport and the rest is history! Fast forward to June 2024 and they got engaged in Iceland at Godafoss, Waterfall.
